Tuesday, September 18, noon

Contact Nancy Hawkins, nhawkins@stoel.com or 503-294-9638, to register.

There is a growing trend in local businesses to implement more sustainable practices.  To explore some of the motivations and the results, we will hear from three pioneers of sustainability in their industries.  What drove them to pursue sustainability for their businesses?  How did they gain acceptance and implement more sustainable practices?  What were the results?

Marsha Willard, CEO of AXIS Performance Advisors, will moderate the panel.

Panelists:

Sattie Clark, co-owner of Eleek, Inc., a decorative building products design and manufacturing business, and co-founder of Voice for Oregon Innovation & Sustainability (VOIS).

Susan Sokol Blosser, founder of Sokol Blosser Winery and founder of Yamhill Enrichment Society (YES).

Tom Kelly, president of the Neil Kelly Company, a design-build-remodeling firm, and a founder of the Oregon Business Association.
